Created in 2009, in Brasil, the production company Mir\u00edade Filmes<\/strong><\/a> has a strong emphasis on international co-productions and projects with decolonizing worldviews. It has co-produced projects with more than 20 production companies around the world (Brazil, India, USA, France, Colombia, Italy, Mexico, Burkina Faso, Sweden, China) and was the major producer of films by its founding partner Beatriz Seigner, such as the multi-award winning Los Silencios<\/strong><\/a> (Brazil, France, Colombia), which was co-produced with Cine-Sud Promotion (by Thierry Lenouvele) and Dia-fragma Fabrica de Peliculas (by Daniel Garcia), premiered at the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018, and was released in over 40 countries. Mir\u00edade Filmes was also the main producer of the feature film Bollywood Dream<\/strong><\/a> (Brazil, India, USA), which was co-produced with Rattapallax (by Ram Devineni) and Prasad Studios in India and was shown at the S\u00e3o Paulo International Film Festival in 2009 and in the Busan IFF Official Competition 2010, among 20 other festivals around the world. The company has also produced the short film Olga\u2019s Family<\/a><\/strong>, which is part of the feature film Neighbors (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), produced by Jia Zhang-Ke, and shown at the Pyngiao festivals and at the S\u00e3o Paulo IFF 2019 Exhibition; and the documentary Between Us, a Secret<\/strong><\/a> (Brazil, Burkina Faso, Mexico), shot in Mali and premiered in 2021 in cinemas and on digital platforms (distributed by Vitrine Filmes).<\/p>\n

Miriade Filmes is currently co-producing the feature film Blue Flamingo<\/strong> with Abrolhos Filmes, Globo Filmes, Telecine, Canal Brasil, and Cine Sur ProMotion (France), predicted to be shot by mid 2024; the feature film While They Sleep<\/strong>, in co-production with Big Bonsai, Telecine, Canal Brasil, and CineSud promotion (France), expected to be shot by the end of 2024; the feature film Leopoldina<\/strong>, in co-production with Big Bonsai, expected to be shot in 2025, all written and directed by Beatriz Seigner; and the series Amigas<\/strong> written and directed by Beatriz Seigner and Maira B\u00fchler, a project that won the SeriesMakers award from the S\u00e9ries Mania program carried out by Beta Group.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Beatriz Seigner is the writer, director and producer of the feature film \u201cLos Silencios<\/strong><\/a>\u201d (Brazil, Colombia, France) shot in the border between Brazil, Colombia and Peru, premiered at La Quinzaine des Realizateurs in Cannes 2018,<\/strong> claimed by Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Screen International as one of the best films of the festival this year, winner of the Impact Award by Ai Weiwei <\/strong>at Stockholm Film Festival, the Best Director and Critics Prize<\/strong> at Brasilia Film Festival, Best Script and Special Jury Prize<\/strong> at Lima IFF, Best Artistic Contribution<\/strong> at NuevoCine Latinoamericano in Havana, Cuba, Spanish Cooperation Prize<\/strong> at San Sebastian IFF, UNESCO Honour Mention<\/strong> at Goa International Film Festival of India,<\/p><\/p>\n

She is also the writer-director, cinematographer and producer of the film \"Between Us, a Secret<\/strong><\/a>\" (2021) codirected together with Toumani Kouyate about the traditional storytellers and conflict mediators of West Africa, being also the writer-director of the episode \u201cOlga\u2019s Family<\/strong><\/a>\u201d<\/strong> that integrates the feature film Neighbours<\/strong> (2019) produced by the Cannes Palme D\u2019Or winner, Chinese director Jia Zhang-Ke and directed by worldwide award winning talents from the BRICS countries and the writer, director and producer of the feature film \u201cBollywood Dream<\/strong><\/a>\u201d the first Indian-Brazilian film co-production (Busan International Film Festival \u2013 Official Selection 2010, and S\u00e3o Paulo International Film Festival 2009 \u2013 nationally released on the cinema theaters in 2011), and of the short-films made at the Kinoforum labs \u201cUma Menina como outras Mil\u201d<\/strong> (S\u00e3o Paulo Int. Short Film Festival 2001), \u201cRoda Real\u201d<\/strong> (S\u00e3o Paulo Int. Short Film Festival 2004) and \u201cIndias<\/strong>\u201d (2005).<\/p><\/p>\n
